Viroqua Cafe Scaling Back Food Menu

Beginning Thursday, Sept 8, the Wonderstate Viroqua Café will be offering a more limited breakfast and lunch menu. The burger, salad, breakfast sandwich and breakfast bowl will no longer be available. We will continue to offer a full coffee menu and made-from-scratch bakery case as well as a limited menu including bagels, lox, oatmeal, pastries and homemade soup. 

Our decision to pare down our menu didn’t come lightly. We know some of these items are your favorites, and they’re ours too! When we opened in 2017, scratch-made and farm-to-table counter service options in Viroqua were few and far between. We delighted in adding dishes to our menu with ingredients grown by local producers in order to meet the needs of the community and passers by. 

In the past few years, Viroqua has seen four incredible new restaurants open (and re-open). Admittedly, those great new food options made the decision easier. The reduction will also allow us to better support our staff and double-down on serving world class coffee.

Monday the 5th will be our last day with the full menu. We hope you'll come celebrate one last burger, salad or sandwich before they're gone.
