My favorite coffee
I have been getting Wonderstate Big Dipper coffee since they took over Big Water Coffee in Bayfield, WI. They did a great job of making their own versions of some popular coffees from that company. I have had a subscription for years. It is so good. Dark, but not bitter- full flavored. It’s the best. Several of my friends now use this kind as well! From different states! Im very happy to get my order every couple worked. Great job!

Dark roast delight
I love dark roast, and this is my favorite kind by far! It’s delicious, I use it for espresso or French press and it’s amazing every time. It’s expensive but worth it!

Decent medium-dark roast blend
I picked up a bag of Big Dipper to try as espresso and pourover. With about 10 days' rest, I was getting this oddly astringent smoke note to it that put me off. But as it's aged and rested longer, that has seemingly gone away and I'm actually getting some nice cups from it. Definitely give it 2-3 weeks to rest properly.
Now I'm getting baking cocoa and nutty flavors alongside a bit of roastiness. Body is more in the medium range. I don't think it'll be my go-to dark roast as I like full-bodied coffee, but it's a solid blend, especially if you like that classic roast profile.

Lighter than expected, but still great
If you're used to grocery store dark roasts, this is going to be closer to a medium. You still get a lot of chocolate and roast notes, but without the oily beans or bitterness
