In the winter of 2003, our local community-supported radio station started as mere whisper by a group of local “radio activistas”. After an immense grassroots effort, WDRT was finally born 4 years ago and has since evolved into a cultural force that contributes greatly to the culture and sense of community here in The Driftless.
We’ll be hanging out at the station on September 17 from 6-9am for the birthday pledge drive, so tune in for some Kickapoo-fueled jams and chatter.
Check out all that WDRT has to offer (including streaming archives) here.
