Position Overview

The Café Manager reports to the General Manager of Cafés and will hold a central role in the success of the café’s business operations. As part of the leadership of the cafe, the Café Manager will work closely with the General Manager, café staff, Bar Lead and Cafe Operations Manager to achieve the café’s goals.

    • termination & exit interviews

  • Manage labor
  • Cafe email management
  • Customer support & social media coordination
  • General inventory management & ordering
  • Reporting, COGS tracking and managing loss
  • Processing payroll
  • Product knowledge 
    • Coffee
    • Tea
    • Food
    • Merchandise
  • Cash Management / Tips
  • Invoicing
  • Daily Operations
  • Quality control 
  • Participate in weekly LT meetings and populate the scorecard
  • Customer Experience
  • Cafe Aesthetics and cleanliness
  • Community Engagement
  • Manage maintenance and repairs
  • Create & coordinate staff training with Bar Lead & Cafe Operations Manager (as needed)
